Creators of true magic, Perched Bird offers hand painted ornaments and pieces that speak of the whimsy and magic of the seasons through the eyes of a child. Storytelling is at the centre of their collections, weaving their unique brand of magic through wooden figurines and stories. Truly artisan pieces that will become cherished family heirlooms.
Kara has been illustrating beautiful Stationery since 2010. After designing the Stationery for her own Wedding, Kara quickly discovered her love for all things paper, and has been hand painting and making products ever since. Surrounded by ribbons, foils and baubles, Kara develops her drawings into wooden keepsakes and heirlooms, finding her inspiration from wild flora and fauna and countryside walks. Her British crafted gifts range from wooden mushrooms to paper mache animals. Working in her little studio in Warwickshire with twins Florence & Roux never too far away, Kara loves nothing more than to create beautiful pieces with a magical story behind them. Each piece is given just as much attention as the first.
